IDR101 — The Rationale for Identifier 101
Why 101?
The number 101 refers to the prime number 101, but also echoes the idea of an introductory course—Constitutional Engineering101.
As a prime number, 101 is a “lower twin prime” with the prime number 103, which is the upper twin prime of this pair. You may also find some U2D2 pages identified with the 103 upper twin prime.
An Unlisted U2D2 Page
IDR101 is an Unlisted U2D2 webpage.
Unlike the primary FE, WP, and CBA pages, no live hyperlinks anywhere within the U2D2 website point directly to this page. Consequently, visitors will not ordinarily arrive here by following the site’s navigation or by clicking conventional links.
Instead, this page is intended to be discovered. Visitors may reach it by decoding a Fibonacci-encoded surrogate URL, following clues provided through Remote Tool Tips (RTTs), receiving a direct link from another person, or simply by experimenting with U2D2 URLs on their own.
This approach reflects one of the underlying design philosophies of U2D2: not every layer of information needs to be presented immediately. Some layers are meant to reward curiosity, experimentation, and exploration. IDR pages are supplementary rather than essential—they enrich the experience for those who wish to look beneath the surface without interrupting the flow of the primary documents.
Although U2D2 itself intentionally contains no direct links to this page, it remains a publicly accessible webpage. Others are free to share its address or link to it directly. In that sense, an IDR page is unlisted, not secret. Discovery is encouraged, but not required.
